Accessibility
Last updated: August 8, 2026
GLO Solutions (“GLO”) is committed to making our platform accessible and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that beauty is for everyone, and our technology should reflect that.
Our commitment
We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard. These guidelines help us ensure that GLO is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, regardless of ability or the technology used to access our platform.
What we’re doing
- Semantic HTML — we use meaningful HTML elements and ARIA attributes so screen readers and assistive technologies can accurately convey our interface.
- Keyboard navigation — our interface components are built with Radix UI primitives, which provide full keyboard navigation, focus management, and screen reader announcements out of the box.
- Color contrast — we aim to maintain sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background elements throughout the platform.
- Alternative text — images across GLO include descriptive alternative text where appropriate.
- Responsive design — GLO is designed to work across devices and screen sizes, and supports browser-level text resizing.
- Form accessibility — form fields include associated labels, validation feedback, and clear error messages.
Known limitations
We are actively improving accessibility across GLO. Some areas where we are still working to improve include:
- Provider portfolio images — user-uploaded portfolio photos may not always have detailed descriptive text. We are exploring ways to improve alt-text coverage for provider-generated content.
- Third-party booking platforms — when you click a booking link, you are redirected to the provider’s own booking system (e.g., GlossGenius, StyleSeat, Booksy). We do not control the accessibility of those external platforms.
- Map views — our provider map (powered by Google Maps) may present challenges for screen reader users. All providers shown on the map are also accessible via the standard search results list.
Feedback and contact
We take accessibility seriously and welcome your feedback. If you encounter any accessibility barriers while using GLO, or if you have suggestions for how we can improve, please contact us:
Email: Support@globeauty.app
Please include a description of the issue, the page or feature where you encountered it, and the assistive technology you were using (if applicable). We will do our best to respond within 5 business days and work toward a resolution.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review our platform and work to identify and address barriers as GLO evolves.
