Community Guidelines
Last updated: August 8, 2026
GLO is a community built on trust between clients and beauty professionals. These guidelines apply to everyone on the platform — clients, providers, and visitors. By using GLO you agree to follow them.
1. Respect and safety
- Treat everyone with respect. Discrimination, hate speech, harassment, threats, or bullying based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic will not be tolerated.
- Do not share another person’s private information (address, phone number, financial details) without their consent.
- Do not impersonate another person or business.
2. Reviews
Honest reviews help the GLO community thrive. When leaving a review:
- Be honest — only review providers you have actually visited. Your review should reflect your genuine experience.
- Be specific — describe the service, the result, and anything the provider did well or could improve.
- Be respectful — constructive criticism is welcome; personal attacks are not.
Reviews that are not allowed
- Fake, incentivized, or paid reviews (positive or negative).
- Reviews for services you did not receive.
- Reviews that contain abusive, discriminatory, or threatening language.
- Reviews left as retaliation, extortion, or leverage in a dispute.
- Spam, advertising, or content unrelated to the service.
- Content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property.
Providers may not pressure, threaten, or offer incentives to clients in exchange for positive reviews or the removal of negative reviews.
3. Photos and portfolio content
- All photos must depict your own work. Stock images, AI-generated images, and heavily misleading filters are not permitted.
- If a photo includes a recognizable person, you must have their consent to post it publicly.
- No explicit, violent, or graphic content.
- Do not upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe your copyrighted work appears on GLO without permission, see our DMCA process.
4. Bookings and reliability
- Clients: honor your appointments. If you need to cancel, do so with reasonable notice. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in your account being flagged or removed.
- Providers: keep your availability, pricing, and booking information accurate and up to date. Respond to booking requests in a timely manner.
5. Provider conduct
- Maintain all required licenses and certifications for your services and jurisdiction.
- Follow proper health and safety standards for your service category.
- Do not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or the services you offer.
- Do not use GLO to solicit clients for services that are illegal in your jurisdiction.
6. Prohibited content and activity
The following are not allowed anywhere on GLO:
- Illegal activity of any kind.
- Spam, phishing, or scam attempts.
- Malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
- Attempting to scrape, data-mine, or reverse-engineer the platform.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade a suspension or ban.
- Manipulating search results, reviews, or ratings.
7. How we enforce these guidelines
When we become aware of a violation, we may take one or more of the following actions depending on severity:
- Remove the content in question.
- Issue a warning to the account holder.
- Temporarily suspend the account.
- Permanently remove the account from the platform.
We may act with or without prior notice, and at our sole discretion. Serious violations (threats, fraud, illegal activity) may result in immediate removal.
8. Reporting violations
If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it to us at support@globeauty.app. Include as much detail as possible (the profile or review in question, screenshots, context). We review all reports and will respond within 5 business days.
9. Changes
We may update these guidelines as GLO evolves. Material changes will be reflected with a new “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of GLO after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
